Welcome, I’m Jen

You don’t need another expert talking at you.

You need someone who actually gets it.

A woman in a yellow dress standing in front of a decorative circular backdrop with floral and fabric accents, on a woven rug.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, therapist, and speaker—and for over 20 years, I’ve been sitting with people in the middle of real life.

Not the polished version.
The overwhelmed, stretched-thin, quietly-struggling version.

The kind of stress you can’t just “fix” with a few deep breaths and a better morning routine.

I provide psychotherapy for adults across New York State, offering both in-person and virtual therapy and specialize in:

  • foster & adoptive parenting

  • depression & anxiety

  • chronic stress & burnout

  • relationships & life transitions

  • emotional wellness

In addition, I speak to organizations and teams navigating those same challenges at scale.

Because here’s the TRUTH—what individuals struggle with privately is often happening everywhere collectively.

What To Expect With Jen:

Real Conversations

I’m known for making complex emotional experiences practical, relatable, and actually usable.

No jargon.
No overcomplication.
No pretending life isn’t hard sometimes.

Just real conversations, real tools, and a deeper understanding of what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

Truth

Because people are tired.

Tired of:

  • holding it all together

  • performing at a high level while feeling overwhelmed

  • not having language for what they’re experiencing

And most of all—tired of feeling like they’re the only one struggling.

They’re not.

Expertise

When I speak, I bring this same perspective into the room. Not just awareness—but practical, usable insight.

Not just education—but relief.

The kind where people think:
“Oh… this makes sense now.”

More About My Style

My work is grounded in both clinical experience and real-world understanding.

In addition to my therapy and speaking work, I have specialized training in foster and adoptive family systems—an area that requires a deeper, trauma-informed lens.

This experience shapes how I approach:

  • emotional regulation

  • relationships

  • stress and resilience

  • and the systems people are navigating every day

Because context matters. Always.

My goal is simple:

To create space for people to breathe, grow, and find a version of balance that actually works for their life.

Not a perfect life.
A real one.
